Forest Green K-6 Students to Participate in Terry Fox Run on September 25th
We are excited to announce that our K-6 students at Forest Green School will once again be participating in the Terry Fox Run on September 25th. This event has become a cherished tradition at our school, where students, staff, and the community come together to honor Terry Fox’s legacy and support cancer research.
The Terry Fox Run is more than just a run; it’s an opportunity for our students to learn about perseverance, hope, and the power of making a difference. Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope continues to inspire millions of people around the world, and by participating in this event, our students are contributing to a cause that affects so many families and individuals.
We encourage our families to support this event in any way they can—whether by joining us on the day of the run, cheering on our students, or making a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation. Together, we can help continue Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer and teach our students the importance of compassion and community involvement.
Let’s make this year’s Terry Fox Run a memorable one for our students and a meaningful step toward a brighter future for all!
