Please note: Due to provincial health measures that set limits for in-school visitors, Forest Green has temporarily suspended the Mentorship program.
Do you have one hour per week to make a difference in a child's life?
Mentoring is a wonderful way to be a positive role model and make a difference in the life of a child in your community. Your commitment of one hour per week would help foster a positive relationship for the child (mentee) while working with you on a one-on-one basis.
- Be a positive role model
- Make an impact in your community
- Develop leadership skills
- Gain volunteer experience
- Connect with children and have fun!
- Engage in new activities
- Develop social and leadership skills
- Academic progress
- Connect with an adult in the community and have fun!
Mentoring is an incredibly rewarding way to involve yourself in your community and the benefits shine through for both the mentor and the mentee. We welcome parents, community members and community organizations to volunteer for one hour per week to mentor a child in our school.
